Nicky Browne - Artist

Nicky Browne teaches intaglio, relief and general printmaking. She has also been an exhibiting member of Richmond Printmakers for several years.

She produces sketchbooks of events (holidays, meetings, weddings, fetes and parades). She also makes cards from the sketches and prints. Recent work has included documenting the moving of a printing press, weddings and political rallies. Drawings are made in concertina sketchbooks, which focus particularly on people moving about and doing things. Local atmosphere is always added to give character and generally includes food and drink, typography, local characters and any interesting oddities. Nicky has exhibited her sketchbooks.

Nicky makes relief prints with either lino, floor tiles or wood. These are usually prints of places, (Landscapes, situations or buildings). She is also interested in monkey puzzle trees

She sells cards and prints and welcomes commissions. Some of the albums of cards can be found on the gallery link. Cards are digitally printed with an image on the front and a small one on the back. All are hand-signed. They sell at £2.00 each or £1.75 for 10 or more, p&p included. images shown here include drawings, a recent sketchbook, cards and linocuts.
